Children are welcome but are the sole responsibility of the parents. Children need to be under the supervision of an adult. Baby-sitting can be arranged at an extra charge. No playing or running inside the Lodge. Golf course is off-limits for playing on as it is dangerous. Pool can be used under adult supervision only.
Rooms are designed for a maximum of 2 people on a single or double basis. Mattresses can be arranged for children under 12 years of age. There are no inter-linking rooms. Self-catering Estate Lodges are the best option for families.
Daily cleaning of rooms and bathrooms
Bed linen and towels are changed every fifth day, towels every third day
For self-catering stays longer than 1 week, cleaning will be done every second day
Washing and drying facilities are available in self-catering houses
Catering can be provided by prior arrangement. We are suitable for family get-togethers, seminars and private functions.
We offer guests use of a hair dryer and a standard 2-prong South African adapter. International adapters are also available. Theft of these extras will result in a replacement fee.
A choice of continental or English breakfast is available. Any specific meal requirements to be arranged prior to arrival.
We make use of vouchers containing 250MB per 24 hours. Each voucher has a unique logging code for Grande Lodge guests. The vouchers are multi-device use. Additional vouchers can be supplied on request. The self-catering lodges have no wifi; the Grande Lodge lounge can be used for connecting to the wifi by self-catering lodges.
